It was announced over the weekend that Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will return to Sligo in 2015. Now the excitement builds for 10th – 17th August 2014

Last January 2013, it was announced that Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2014 would be held in Sligo, for the first time since 1991. Since that announcement excitement has been building around Sligo, and over the weekend excitement grew to the next level as it was announced that Sligo will also play host to the Fleadh in 2015.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann is the biggest traditional Irish music Festival on the planet, a week-long jamboree of music, song and dance, not to mention late nights and family fun! The Fleadh will descend on Sligo between 10th – 17th August 2014.
As with every festival, they need volunteers, and Fleadh Cheoil is no exception. 1,000 volunteers are needed during the Festival for various responsibilities. If you would like to Volunteer during the Festival, you can fill in an application form here.
