Dr Dympna Walsh, Lecturer BN International; Module Leader - Patient Safety in the Healthcare Setting

Dympna is a lecturer in undergraduate, post graduate and degree programmes.

Donegal and has many years of nursing experience in many different specialist areas within the acute care settings and the intellectual/physical disability settings. She has also many years of experience teaching/lecturing within third level institutions on the island of Ireland.

After completing her RNID; RGN, BNSc (HONS), RNT and MSc Dympna then completed her PhD where she concentrated on Disabled Womens Experiences of Pregnancy, Childbirth and Motherhood.

Dympna is also the International Disability Expert Advisor to the DMRS.
