The Way We Were - Sligo 1916

Take a journey back in time to 1916 on Culture Night with Historian Dr. John O'Callaghan. Find out what life was like for Sligo people living in the busy port town. Dr. John O'Callaghan lectures in History and Heritage in St. Angela's College, Sligo. His most recent book was Con Colbert, a biography of the executed 1916 Rising rebel. His current research focuses on the commemoration of the revolutionary decade of 1913-23.
